I'm a philosopher - an assistant professor at the Institute of Philosophy of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. I studied political science and philosophy at the Jagiellonian University and at the London School of Economics (MSc in 2006). I received a PhD in philosophy in 2011 at the Jagiellonian University under supervision of Prof. Włodzimierz Galewicz. My recent work focuses on the intersection of metaethics and practical ethics. I'm the director of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Ethics at the Jagiellonian University, a member of the editorial board of the journal Diametros, and the editor-in-chief of the popular science journal Filozofia w Praktyce [Philosophy in Practice]. In 2018 I was awarded with the ERC Starting Grant (BIOUNCERTAINTY).

Lee Elkin defended his PhD thesis in philosophy and economics in 2017. His main areas of interest are formal epistemology and philosophy of science as well as decision theory, logic, and philosophy of cognitive science. He completed research internships at the University of Pittsburgh and Tilburg and worked at Université Paris-Est Créteil and Ludwig Maximilians Universität. He published, among others, in The British Journal for the Philosophy of Science ('Being Realist about Bayes, and the Predictive Processing Theory of Mind') and Noûs ('Resolving Peer Disagreements Through Imprecise Probabilities') .

Piotr Grzegorz Nowak is an assistant professor at the Institute of Philosophy of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. He is interested mostly in bioethics, especially in the ethics of organ transplantation, and in the brain death debate. Piotr has published numerous works about these topics written both in English and Polish. In February 2019, he was a visiting fellow at the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine, College of Medicine, Florida State University.

Mariusz Maziarz studied econometrics and international economic relations at the Warsaw School of Economics. He is currently completing his doctorate at the Wrocław University of Economics and has started studies at the Doctoral School of Humanities at the Jagiellonian University. He has conducted research internships at the University of Helsinki and Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

Karolina is a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Humanities at the Jagiellonian University. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and is currently completing her second degree studies in philosophy in the Inter-Faculty Studies in the Humanities programme.

A graduate of law, philosophy and the European Master in Law and Economics program (Bologna, Hamburg, Haifa). He is currently finishing a doctoral thesis under the supervision of prof. Wojciech Załuski. His reaserch concentrates on selected issues in the philosophy of criminal law and the theory of criminalization. He is scientifically involved in behavioral economic analysis of law, experimental philosophy of law and empirical research on law.

PhD student at the Center for Social Congitive Studies, supervised by prof. dr hab. Małgorzata Kossowska. A graduate of biology and psychology at the Jagiellonian University. Scientifically involved in issues such as commitment to purposeful activities (starting from the cognitive processes underlying it, through researching the implementation of daily diet plans or behaviors, to political commitment) and cognitive dissonance, especially consistency of values with behavior.

Adrianna acquired her BA in Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology. She is currently a student at the Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in the Humanities at Master's level. She is also finishing her studies at the Faculty of Medicine. In the project she is involved in the organization of seminars and popularization of the subjects researched.
