I’m a philosopher working primarily in normative and applied ethics. My current research focuses on questions of fairness, distribution, and uncertainty in public and population health. My project at INCET, Uncertainty and Individual Justification in Public Health Ethics, examines some fundamental questions about non-consequentialist approaches to uncertainty in public health ethics.
Prior to joining INCET, I worked as a junior research fellow at the University of Tartu, where I defended my PhD in philosophy in 2023. I’ve also worked as a visiting lecturer at the Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), as well as a researcher for two Horizon Europe projects: Ethically Responsible Innovations in reproductive medicine (ERIN), and Beyond Bad Apples: Towards a Behavioral and Evidence-Based Approach to Promote Research Ethics and Research Integrity in Europe (BEYOND).
